Back for more Xtremely Xpresso

I'm back with hungry beach buds in tow! We drove past the favorite Meat Plus and saw a big crowd and headed on to the next in our list. Quality food? Yup, going there. We were #5 if we wanted it indoors with a/c. The outside seems nice too with the bring brolly so we opted to take lunch in the shaded area. Chill. Service was a bit lacking in speed but foor is still very good. Pictures show: -Thai shrimp salad - spicy! -Scampi fettucini - spicy! -Truffle mushroom spaghetti - FAVORITE! and it stomps out the chili in the other dishes :) -Xtreme Pizza - 8 slices, good for 4pax -Eskimocha - coffee, chocolate, cream :9 -Strawberry Frappe - heavy with cream too -Mango crepe - not shown (with 1 big scoop of vanilla ice cream 2 fat swirls of whipped cream) There goes our healthy diet! But well worth the calories. Tomorrow's gonna be an xtremely work-out day! 1 Dewey Ave corner St. Rita St. From Pure Gold (the 1 with the SnR food corner)'s stoplight, turn left, th...

Chocolate Rumble - The Manor

Image
Mom comes home with a couple of giant munchkin-looking choco balls from The Manor. Munchkin: donut balls you can pop into your mouth in one go. Okay, to be exact, they're 6 fist-sized choco balls filled with choco ganache and coated with choco sprinkles from that posh place. We ate 1 straight from the ref - cold, hard and tasteless - BLAH! So the next day, I sliced another one, placed it in the microwave for 45sec, added a dollop of cold all-purpose cream and surrounded it with fresh strawberries. Now. That. Is. Heavenly. And I served some more :9
